Fermons les yeux pour voir. Always mind your surroundings est une série de six soirées hebdomadaires autour de l'écoute, de l'attention, du partage d'expériences et de récits. Des artistes montréalais et internationaux convient le public à des performances, des marches, des ateliers d'écoute, ou encore des performances sonores. Ils et elles mobilisent des objets trouvés, l'histoire du quartier, l'architecture du bâtiment et son acoustique, et des habitants insolites, en réponse aux transformations massives que subit le paysage urbain de Griffintown et du Vieux-Montréal.

Fermons les yeux pour voir. Always mind your surrounding is a series of six weekly nights around listening, attention, sharing experiences and narratives. Montreal and international artists invite the public to performances, walks, listening workshops, and sound performances. Through these offerings, they mobilize found objects, the history of the district, Darling Foundry’s architecture and its acoustics, and surprising inhabitants, in response to the massive transformations of the urban landscapes of Griffintown and Old Montreal.
